Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam's Kien Giang Province, in the Gulf of Thailand, is 28 miles west of Ha Tien and 218 miles west of Ho Chi Minh City and one hour by plane. Phu Quoc is of 150 km coastline, and about the same size as Singapore, with a population of 75,000. |

Can Gio is a coastal district lying in the South-East of HoChiMinh City, and 50 km away from Ho Chi Minh City centre. With 70,400 ha in area, Can Gio is planed into three main function zones: agriculture eco-tourism, forest eco-tourism, and marine eco-tourism. In the year 2000, Can Gio was admitted to the World Network of Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO in Vietnam. |
